Standard RISER 500

RISER 500  is an adapter support ring that brings up the the RD-400 clamshell dome to about 500MM higher from the mounting surface. 

It has the same function as the RISER 200. By the way, all risers rings and riser walls can be stacked, which can come in handy if you need a particular height

This makes sense for larger aperture scopes and big mounts to get some leeway. It can also help you to have the best position of the telescope inside the dome.

RD-400 clamshell dome here installed on a RISER 500 adapter ring at a concrete foundation.

You can get all necessary information about the foundation from our engineers.

Like with the RISER 2000 configuration, the dome can be entered from side through one of the two the door portals.

Standard, only one of the doors is used. The other portal is closed by a blind panel.

On demand, you can of course have two doors. Please specify when ordering the dome.

Our domes can have any RAL scheme based colors.

If you need your dome colors to match those of your home, or its surroundings, we can colorize the gel coat of the observatory during production.

Mind you: NO metalic colors! 

The inside of the dome is spray-painted in mat-black against stray light.
